 How to prepare

Add turmeric and chopped garlic to the onion, add rice and stir well. Add water and stir, bring to a boil then cover the pot and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve hot with fish or meat.

Wash the rice well, and soak it in warm water for about a third of an hour.

Ingredients

How to prepare

 Wash the rice several times, then soak it in warm salted water for fifteen minutes. Put turmeric, pepper, garlic, mint, parsley, and cilantro in a blender jug, then turn on medium speed until the mixture is smooth, and then add a little water if needed. 

Put each of: six to eight glasses of water, a tablespoon of salt, a tablespoon of oil in a wide saucepan, let it boil over a strong fire, then filter the rice from the water-soaked in it and add it to the water, then let it boil until the size of the grain doubles, do not let it fully simmer, then filter the rice directly from the boiling water.

 Heat the fat and oil in a wide saucepan, then fry the cashew until it becomes dark golden color, then put it in a dish aside. 
Fry the raisins until the kernels swell in the same saucepan, then set aside in the dish. Put the green herb mixture in the same saucepan, then heat it over medium heat until it starts to boil. Add the rice, then stir lightly until the rice is mixed with the green mixture.
