What is the most popular food in Chinese?

Chinese meat dumplings (Xiaozhi)

This pancake is one of the most popular Chinese food, and it is also one of the most delicious dishes in Asian cuisine, especially in Dim Sum restaurants and New Year celebrations in China.

This delicious Chinese dumpling is filled with ground pork or beef, cabbage, bamboo shoots, green onions, ginger, and garlic.

They serve as an appetizer, with a tangy dipping sauce made with soy sauce, vinegar, and rice wine.

Recipe:

To make the filling, combine the following ingredients in a mixing bowl. Transfer the cabbage to a food processor after chopping it coarsely. Stir the cabbage until it is finely chopped, but not mashed. (Alternatively, chop the cabbage very fine and drain in a colander.)

Stir with a pinch of salt, toss well, and set aside for 10 minutes.) To remove excess liquid, place the cabbage on a clean kitchen towel, roll up, and press.

Place the cabbage in a large mixing bowl.

Use your hands to mix the pork, green onions, chives, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil; Do not over-stuffing or it will become stiff.

Boil or cook as little of the filling as desired, then adjust the seasoning to your liking.

Prepare a small basin of water to fill the dumplings. In the palm of your hand, flatten the dumpling wrap. In the center of the wrapping, put a tablespoon of the filling.

Wet the edges of the wrapper with a finger dipped in water. Fold the dumplings in half to make a half-moon shape, pushing the excess air out as you seal it.

If desired, fold a small fold on either side of the dumplings with your opposite thumb, then press firmly to lock the dumplings together. Put the cookies on the baking tray. Repeat until all fillings are used; You will have leftover wrappers.

Thai steamed dumplings with dipping sauce

The patties are cooked similar to stewed beef with chicken strips, shiitake mushrooms, and Thai flavours. Serve as a light summertime Asian dinner or as an open buffet with a built-in dipping sauce.

Fried sweet shrimp

One of the most delicious Chinese food is the sweet fried shrimp dish from Asian cuisine. These fried shrimp are a little sweet, a little spicy, and have all the Vietnamese flavors you love.

To prepare this dish, you need to have all your ingredients ready before starting it, in order to avoid overcooking the seafood because the shrimp fry quickly.

You can use appropriately sized shrimp to make this dish as a main protein or appetizer, or smaller shrimp served over rice or as part of another presentation.

Recipe:

The key to this dish is to flip the shrimp beforehand. They should not be cooked together with other vegetables because shrimp have a short cooking time and we don't want to overcook them. Shrimp that is overcooked becomes rubbery and loses its juiciness.

Shrimp should be cooked in batches. Depending on the size of your pan, choose the number of batches. Arrange a batch of shrimp on the pan at a distance from each other. Moisture seeps out of the shrimp when cooking, so cooking too much at once will make it sticky.

Next, cook the remaining vegetables in the pan. The time it takes to cook the vegetables should be longer than the time it takes to boil the shrimp. Prefer crunchy vegetables over wet vegetables.

My heart cooked shrimp with vegetables, then add the sauces.

Combine everything together so that it is well coated with the sauce. Apply it in your favorite style.

Fried vegetables

Roasting vegetables over high heat takes much less time than many other preparations, resulting in crunchy vegetables rather than the gray, fluffy versions that can often result from excessive boiling or evaporation.

This recipe comes with a nice, light sauce that complements the natural flavor of the vegetables beautifully.

Cut all the vegetables into pieces of the same size so that they cook as evenly as possible.

If you like soft vegetables, cook them for 10 to 20 seconds.

Lemon and tamarind chicken

This chicken dish features the unique blend of lemon and tamarind, with a sweet and sour flavor that has the added flavor of tamarind fruits. The fruit comes fresh, dried and seasoned in many Asian markets.

If you go the sticky route, use more fresh or dried to get that strong flavor. Serve over white rice to soak up the sauce.

 Recipe:

Marinate the chicken in turmeric, cumin, salt, and freshly ground black pepper for at least 30 minutes.

In a frying pan, heat the oil, then add the chicken and fry for 5 minutes over a high heat.

Hot peppers, onions, garlic, ginger, lemon, carrots and cinnamon should be added to the pot. Stir for an additional two minutes on high heat.

Dissolve cornstarch in chicken broth, then add to wok along with tamarind juice and coconut milk. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook for 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked.

Season with sugar and fish sauce, then serve over fresh jasmine rice and chopped coriander.
