Ingredients:

  •  4 apples

  •  1 tablespoon of white flour.

  •  2 tablespoons of corn starch.
  •  1 tablespoon of vanilla powder.
  •  Half a cup of white sugar.
  •  Half a cup of brown sugar.
  •  2 tablespoons of water.
  •  One and a half teaspoons of ground cinnamon.
  •  Half a teaspoon of ground nutmeg.

 For decoration:

  •  1 tablespoon of white sugar.
  •  Half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon.

Method of preparation:

First, prepare the oven at 220 C.


Spread the pie dough in the oven dish, reserving the remaining dough.


Pour the lemon juice into a bowl large enough to hold the apples, and fill it halfway with cold water.


Peel and cut the apples in lemon water, and set aside.


Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat, and stir it in with the flour and cornstarch to form a paste.


Add 2 tablespoons of water with vanilla extract, and add ½ cup of white sugar, brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and nutmeg.


Leave to boil, drain the apples and add them to the mixture of sugar and berries, cook, stirring, for 5 minutes.


Then remove them from the heat and cool them a little, pour the fruits into the oven dish and press them on the surface of the crust.


To decorate, take 1 tablespoon of white sugar and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, sprinkle them over the pie.

  •  Three tablespoons of melted butter.
  •  A tablespoon of flour.
  •  Two tablespoons of soft butter.
  • Three tablespoons of light brown sugar.
  •  Two tablespoons of sliced ​​almonds.

Method of preparation:

 Peel the apple and cut it into slices or rings to get fifteen slices.

Prepare the dough:

Put the flour, salt and cinnamon in the bowl of the electric mixer, then cut the butter into small cubes and add it to the flour and run the electric mixer on intermittent speed until a mixture forms like breadcrumbs.


Then add vinegar and vanilla while continuing to stir until the dough forms and separates from the edges of the bowl and becomes cohesive.


Shape the dough into a medium-sized disc, wrap it in a piece of cling film, and put it in the fridge for an hour or overnight, depending on the time available.


Preparing the filling:

Put the sugar, cinnamon, flour, butter and almonds in a deep dish and stir the ingredients with fingertips to mix completely.


Then put the dough on a surface sprinkled with flour and cut it into fifteen pieces and press it with the palm of the hand to become a circle.


Roll out the dough with a rolling pin or your hands until it becomes a circle slightly larger than the size of an apple slice.


With the completion of the formation of the rest of the dough pieces into circles of the same size.


It is good to put a slice of apple in the center of each circle of the dough.


and distribute the filling in the middle of the apple slices and bend the edges of the dough over the apple slices, covering only one end and the filling remains visible.


Place apple pies in trays lined with butter paper.


For polishing:

Grease the apple slices and dough with butter and sprinkle a little sugar.


Put the apple pies in the oven for ten minutes or until they become golden in color, and then take them out and leave them to cool a little.

Preparation time: 30 minutes.


Ingredients:

  •  Half a kilo of ready-made pie dough.
  •  One and a half cups of mango juice.
  •  2 tablespoons of butter or ghee.
  •  ¾ cup of sugar.
  •  2 egg yolks.
  •  ⅓ cup of corn starch.
  •  1 cup of whipped cream.

  •  Bunch of fresh mint leaves.

Method of preparation:

Roll out the dough into a 23cm pie plate as directed, then fold and crease the edges.


Bake in a 220 C oven for 7 minutes or until the top is golden, then cool it down.


Mix the mango juice and the following 5 ingredients in a medium saucepan, bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.


Stir constantly until it boils for 1 minute or until it thickens and thickens, then remove from heat.


Stir in the butter and vanilla.
